I'M BAAAACK! Again! For the third time!

Hello! I've decided, with a little encouragement from one of my mates, to get this thing kick started again! Well... a  lots happened since my last post all the way back in September. Not particularly anything majorly noteworthy. We had a leadership camp back in January that was epic, tons of ANZAC (Australian New Zealand Army Corps for those Americans out there) themed activities. The start of the new year as proved to be long and I've had trouble getting into it... but oh well... almost halfway through and I'm half into it. :D By the end of the year I'll be all ready for 2013. Last term I did a lifesaving course which was actually quite interesting and fun. Good to know also. At the moment I'm doing a sailing course with a bunch of mates, its pretty awesome. Other than that, not a lot has happened. I'm sorry if this is all coming out rather jumbled, I have a friend screaming my ear over Skype... XD Blame him!

Unfortunately, I haven't been reading much of which I'm quite unhappy about. But I have a few good books I plan on getting stuck into. Hopefully. My writings have been coming along really slowly, but I have been doing quite a bit of character work.

I think I'll end this post here, my friends still being crazy. He has somewhat of a concussion from faceplanting the floor last night. Don't ask how, I don't know... he's a strange boy. I think he tried (succeed) to kiss the floor... anyway! Take care and I'll post again sometime in the new week. Or maybe next year... depends...
Take care!

Sugar and Skating

Okay. Down to business. I went SKATING again today. I love skating, even if I only do it once every so often. It was soo much fun. :D Went with a couple friends, we had a great time. I enjoy skating a lot, its fun, and awesome when you finally manage to do something good, like go backwards. I saw a couple old friend and the games were fun. There was this one game, it was called Scatter Toys. The deal with this game was that the staff would chuck some toys around the rink and everyone would line up on the wall. When the whistle went, you'd have to race for one. Basically, in the end it was just me and my brother. Two people. One toy. The whistle went. *Dun dun duun* We went off. Bad idea. I told him to go his hardest, and I think I kept pretty close behind him, but then, I thought he was gonna grab the thing, but then... he just didn't grab it. I think my skates tripped over each other, but I ended up doing several spins before slamming into the wall. But I did stay on my feet!! I don't think I'll ever hear the end of it.

Second thing that happened today. After skating we all went to the shops and wow, I didn't know how many lollies there were there! But I tell ya what, I think we cleaned out the shop. I think we got something of everything, chocolate, bubble gum (Which I'm chewing as I type this), sour hard lollies, jellybeans, sour foam, licorice, Nerds, M&M's even Kinder Surprises, you name it. Friday night sugar. Gotta love it. I admit, its crazy and kinda stupid, but hey, I am a teenager. I'm allowed to go a little crazy sometimes. Anyway, by now I'm pretty sure I'm hyper from all the sugar...  XD

Now... Karsten would like to say the goodbye...

Karsten: Yay! She likes me more than you, Hawke. IN YOUR FACE! Now go away, it's starting. Now? Good. Well GOODBYE, you guys, hope you have a great day and-

And we're out of time now.

Mosaic! :D

Heyo, people! Author if this little blog right here! Anyway, today, my mum had a couple friends over and we did some mosaic! Can you imagine that!? Me, the artist that is limited to stick figures trusted with plate cutters and tile glue? I know what your thinking, "Oh no..." But it wasn't that bad. I decided to instead of destroying a plate, as much fun as that would have been, I just used small tiles. Here's the outcome!

Not as bad as you thought, eh? I'm pretty happy with it too. Even if I'm not the best crafter or artist, it's still fun to just hang out with a friend and do something cool. Well... that's about it. Catch ya around, you guys! Bye!!

I'M BACK!

Heyoooo! I am alive! And best of all, I AM BACK!! Anyway, guys, I mean seriously... my last post was May!? Am I completely insane or what? Here is my blog, wasting away in the lonely darkness, and I'm just sitting here, doing NOTHING! :O *Gasp* This must change! So from now on, I shall at least try to post more. No, I WILL post more. Hey? That's good is it? I agreee!!! So what a better way to start back, than with a small hello from all those crazy people who reside in my head!

Titus: Hellooooo!
Mark: I am NOT saying hello, no get that microphone out of my face!
Gavin: Hey, how ya going?
Rath: Is there a point to this?
Hawke: Shhh! Oh, is this thing on, hey Gavin is thi- *SCREEEECH* Hmmm.... I think it's on....
Genevieve: Heyo peoplez!
Zamira: Are you serious? I mean, really? Are you that desperate that you'd get these losers in to-
Grayson: And I'm the new one to that lot, soo... hi?
Malachi: So the red dot means its off? Good! Because if it wasn't I mean... who knows what book might accidentally get burnt next...
Karsten: I'm here! I am not late! THE REST OF THE WORLD IS EARLY!!!!!!!!
Roshan: Well... this is awkward....
Talim: So this is what the real world is like. Wow. It's not what I thought...
Jo: Yo!
Logan: What am I sitting on... what is that?! RATH!!!!!!!!!!!

And on that happy note, I shall run away.

Peace out!

An Apology

Yikes! Sorry I haven't posted in a while, been busy and haven't really thought of anything to say. My writings have been pretty painful, on account of my laziness and the death of my brain. I've currently been re-writing my 'main' project, Twin Sorrows. I've been happy with the progress, though it could be better and I look forward to maybe showing some of it. If I ever get around to it. I'm not sure when I'll get around to blogging again so for now, goodbye!

The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan

Percy Jackson thought he was just your ordinary, dyslexic, ADHD kid. But, boy, was he ever wrong. Percy Jackson has never known his father, his step-father is one of the many miseries of his life, and his mother is the best thing since sliced bread. Percy’s dyslexia and his ADHD has made it pretty hard going to school. But that doesn’t explain the weird things that seem to be happening at each and every school he’s ever gone. Sure, he’s always found Greek Myths interesting, but never did he imagine just how much they were going to affect his life. For the first time, he is given something worthwhile to do. Unfortunately for him, he didn’t understand the full consequences of failure until after he accepted his quest. No matter what he is, human, god, half-blood. Nothing can prepare young Percy for what’s coming.
I really loved the mixtures of ancient Greece myths with the 21st century. I found this book highly amusing and light-hearted. Not to mention, edge of her seat, intense, action scenes and very believable characters. The gods really cracked me up with their clothes and basic lifestyles. When I started the book I was thinking, ‘Oh man, not another sob-story...’ That was a serious misjudgement. This made you anything but sympathize with Percy Jackson. It made me want to laugh at him sometimes, but others I suppose it did compel me to have some pity on him. The Lightning Thief is the first book in the series, Percy Jackson and the Olympians, and I look forward to digging into the following books. If you read this book, which I recomend you do, then prepare for the unexpected.

The Negotiator by Dee Henderson

Failure for Kate O’Malley just isn’t an option. As a hostage negotiator Kate knows what it’s like to be in a crisis. But nothing can prepare her for what’s coming. If she fails this case, someone will die. But by interfering, Kate is now the target. Kate had trained to hide her emotions and just do her job. When someone starts sending her black roses and threats over the phone, she has her suspicions as to who it is. But when a plane blows up and her name is used by the bomber, things get personal.
That’s when Dave Richman truly comes on the scene. When Dave starts to invade her heart, will she withstand the pressure of the plane explosion and have a 24 hour bodyguard on her back? Or will she finally learn to trust Dave and his God? Lives are at stake. And a disaster looms before Kate, one that she never thought would happen.
Okay. Loved this book so much. The suspense, the thrill, the mystery, the passion, it’s all there. I was lost on literally the first page. The Negotiator is the first a series of 6 books (That is if you don’t include Danger in the Shadows, which was a prequel, but I didn’t start on it). I hit off with Kate and Dave immediately and soon learned to love Kate’s family. All three brothers and three sisters of ‘em! This book had enough suspense to keep me flipping pages, enough thrill to excite me, enough mystery to keep me guessing, and enough passion for me to love it. Dee Henderson is working her way into my favourite authors.
Great Read.

I Forgot What I Was Going To Call This

Back to writing! Woo! Problem now is... I seem to... erm... jump from stories frequently... Meh! Going to see The Hunger Games movie on Thursday (Tomorrow) for Literature classes. Should be interesting 'cause a good portion of the book is made up of Katniss's thoughts. Other than that... nothing much has been happening. School is alright, reading material is slowly diminishing, plot ideas are fading, life is drawing to a stand still. Wonderful...

Well anyway. I can't figure out what to really say... I mean, I can't draw or to craft to save my life so therefore I won't/can't put my 'art' on here. I'm not particularly big into huge, logical, one-sided discussion. I can't sing/ play any instruments. My writing aren't going up here, that much I do know. My life is basically made up of reading, writing, and ripstiking... (Aside from the necessary school (Besides the fact that I'm homeschooled) and food). <--- parentheses inside parentheses... Lol. Hmmmmmmmm. Goodbye!
